Statistically Speaking...

Oh my gosh, this video is just too cute. Quinn loves to be challenged with big words to see if she can say then correctly. This was a classic capture!!! She can now say this word properly, and is very proud of herself! (Side note - if you're wondering, she's eating graham crackers with strawberry frosting - poor man's cookies, if you will)...

Field Trip

Last week Quinn went on her first field trip with her new daycare - and I took the day off and went too! I mean, who doesn't want to spend a day at the Baltimore Aquarium? We had taken Quinn to the aquarium in September of '09 when she was about 3 1/2. I figured she might remember an image here and there, but I was pleasantly surprised when she kept coming up to me and telling me she remembered several different instances and experiences. And she enjoyed it just as much this time, if not more - I'm sure it's a lot more fun to hang out with a gaggle of girls that are your age and take in all of the sights and sounds this place has to offer, right? We spent about 4 hours browsing each and every floor of the venue. She especially loved the sting rays, dolphins, jelly fish, and when the divers were feeding all of the beautiful fish in the monstrous tank that you could view from the glass. It was a very successful day and then Miss Sue followed up with some really creative crafts the kids got to make of jellyfish and a sea life paint scene. I'm REALLY enjoying her new daycare, by the way! Ok, enough about Quinn, let's talk about me for a minute - man, I'm uncomfortable in this pregnancy... and we had to have a makeshift picnic in one of the empty side rooms at the aquarium because it was too cold to go outside and eat. So eating on the floor with no back support at 6 months pregnant was not at all fun... But I hung in there and it was nice to get to know the other moms that went with, and also to see Quinn really interacting with the other girls in her class. She's already connected with everyone on a very good level, so I know she's going to be happy there over the summer. I'm happy.
