Today was Quinn's first day at her new daycare at Miss Sue's in New Market. Kirch and I knew we had to get her up near home and her elementary school, so we did the leg work and found a woman within walking distance of the school. We are very happy with our choice so far (of course, time will tell us more), and after some initial shyness on Quinn's part, she warmed right up and seemed to blend right in when Kirch dropped her off this morning. It didn't hurt that today was Pajama Day, so she got to wear her favorite Ariel pj's :-)
Oh, the title of my post up there? Well at 4:45am Quinn called for us because she had a wet pull-up (yes, after much success in finally getting her into undies overnight around Christmas time, she's fallen back into wetting her pants, so we're back into pull-ups), to which i quickly replied, "Well change into underwear! You do it by yourself on other nights!" But I digress - the point of the story is this: After I got her into underwear and tucked her in to go back to sleep, she looked at me with such excitement in her eyes and said with the utmost conviction, "I'm am so ready for Miss Sue's tomorrow!" I was so proud of her and relieved to hear that! She was excited! And had no problems with leaving Miss Kim's! I know she can still come home today and say she misses her other friends and Miss Kim, but this is a great start!
So we'll see how today goes, but I really don't have much doubt that my girl will do just fine. She adjusts easily to change and is a trooper. I can't wait to hear about her first day at Miss Sue's!

Quinn's 1st birthday party... since her 1st birthday party! Another reason we are so thankful we moved out to the "country" into a real house!!! We had 12 girls over, along with parents and family. Needless to say, i was wiped out by the end of the day. But Quinn had a blast and it was all worth it.
