Winter Wonderland 2011

This was no storm like "Snowmageddon" 2010, but it did prove for some very good playtime outside!!! However, it did cause the worst traffic havoc in Washington DC history, I do believe. It took me over 9 hours to get home from work on Wednesday afternoon! Let me tell you, that's not fun for a pregnant woman who has to pee every 1/2 hour and had no food or drink with her! So needless to say, I took Thursday and Friday off to spend with the Bug - that is the one drawback to living in the country; the commute is horrible in bad weather! Well, we made up for it on our 2 days off together. We played in the snow, drank hot chocolate, spent some time as a family (it was nice to have all 3 of us home together!) and really enjoyed ourselves. Check out the pictures!!!

They are calling for another storm system to come through this coming week. I say bring it on!!!
